JUDITH and RUMOR
RUMOR
A 45 minute solo performance by Cinzia Ciaramicoli which folllows the life of an old stage actress of the early 20th century in Italy. She relives the goings-ons on and behind stage and reveals through dance and emotionally charged snippets, her sad but proud life as an independent itinerant show girl.
JUDITH
Judith, the loved one, sister and contemporary of Antigone, slips through the ramparts behind which men feel safe and disappears into the night. She crosses time and history and meets us. In her hands she holds the truncated head of a man. What is it that drove her to kill the man she loves?Patriotism? Eroticism?Love? Or is JUDITH young, rich and beautiful, courted and vain?
