This is a big film.
James Cameron, the man behind The Terminator (1984), Aliens (1986), Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991) and Titanic (1997) wrote and directed this film. He said the idea to Avatar was first conceived way back in 1994 and James had then wanted to start filming the film right after Titanic. But he was not satisfied with the available technology then. So in between producing documentaries, James and a friend, Vince Pace studied camera technologies and they, together with Sony developed the Fusion Camera System. This new Fusion camera system is so good that it enables Avatar to be produced in 2D, 3D and even IMAX.
The storyline of Avatar is far-stretch. How would life be in the year 2154? It is almost 150 years from now. The film says that by that time, human would find new

colonies and true to humanly trait, we do not go in peace. So whilst other films focus on heroes defending Earth and Mankind, Avatar plays the opposite. Our hero is trying to save the new found being from humans’ greed and treachery. Manusia jadi orang jahat.
