If we could get something from the sky, what would be our wish?
Well, Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs requested food, lots of food. So foods fall from the sky. The storyline may be simple but I think this is a very good message to the intended audience – the children.
Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs is Sony Pictures’ another attempt to establishing itself as another studio with 3D Animation. Remember ‘Open Season’ (2006) and ‘Surf Up’ (2007), they were produced by Sony Pictures.

that the best 3D film was ‘The Nightmare before Christmas’ (1993). It was a Walt Disney’s film but the technology used was different though. The Nightmare before Christmas used a stop motion technique. Stop motion is a painstaking frame by frame capturing. It is the same technique as the cartoons but the drawing works in ‘The Nightmare before Christmas’ are loads more.
