The Princess and the Frog

Disney, the world’s leader in animation house is back with a cartoon-film. This cartoon is made in 2D, the original of cartoons before the Pixar and Dreamwork innovated with computerised animation.
The storyline
The storyline in The Princess and the Frog is refreshing. The idea is simple, takes a well known story and turns it afresh. Who would not have heard of a children story about a Prince who was turned into a frog by an evil witch; and turned back into a charming prince after being kissed by the princess? It is the same level of well known as Santa Clauses stories, Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs and Pinocchio – classic children stories.
But Disney had done a very wonderful job of making over the story, so that it entertains adults whilst pleasing children. So instead of a white-race princess, the princess now is a black girl. Instead of a

yellow blooded prince and princess, the film is about a little girl from nowhere, who conceptually becomes a princess on her wedding day (raja sehari-lah). Throw in a New Orleans setting, complete with Jazz, alligator character and Mardi Grass.
Overall this film is a wonderful treat for families during this cuti sekolah. Trust Disney on how to serenade you with entertaining cartoons.
